Another Reason Why NOT To Skip A Well Check-Up ...

... because you may discover this.

And when you find out that you hit the trifecta with near sightedness, an astigmatism, AND a lazy eye (not to be confused with general laziness ... *ahem*) you'll kick yourself that you didn't discover it sooner!

Could she be any cuter? She picked these out on her own ... red and pink with flowers. And she LOVES them. You've never met a girl who wanted glasses more than her!

Of course, this IS Sheridan. So let's take bets on how long before she looses or ruins them. I say a week. Maybe two. Tops.

Adorable! Live them! Hope she doesn't lose them!

Very cute! Kelsey needs a new pair and her favorite pair had flowers on them (2 or 3 ago?), so I definitely see that in her future...Hopefully that will help encourage the wearing too, as she has been slacking off (sigh)...

She looks adorable! I won't tell you how many pairs of glasses Jason lost. Of course he was much older. Wait, that doesn't help, does it?

:)

She is awfully cute. Hope that helps motivate her to wear them.

She really is too cute! Hopefully she does better than ALonzo he went through 7 pairs the first two years he wore glasses.

My daughter is on the verge of glasses, and I hope when she finally has to get them she looks half as cute as Sheridan! And she has some STYLE sense, too.

So sweet! I have two with glasses. One is uber-responsible (almost to an ocd degree.) The other? *sigh*

But, for them (and me!) I've resorted to just buying multiple pair from zenni optical. They are so affordable, that even if a pair doesn't work it's still okay. (Like my cute, nerdy, plaid librarian glasses? Not so cute...)

My husband and I both need glasses (well, I had lasik, but I needed them previously) so we've done an eye check every summer since our kids were about 3yo. Our 8yo doesn't need them as of yet, fingers crossed. Our son has been wearing then since 3rd grade (maybe 2nd) and like Sheridan (who looks absolutely beautiful in those frames - they are awesome! I wish I'd had glasses like those!!!), he likes getting to pick out his new frames every year... and yes, EVERY year we buy him two pair because he's an active kid and destroys them... even the bendy flexible ones! I guess it's just good he's so active, right?

Here is the link for the online glasses shop we used. Both Dave and Alonzo have ordered glasses from here and we have been pleased with the quality and the price.
