Even I, er The Tooth Fairy, Occasionally Make Mistakes ...

While the Tooth Fairy has been known to be a tad harsh when need be ... she normally isn't known for being forgetful.

Little did I know how upset (bummed was her exact word) my munchkin would be when she forgot to make an appearance the other night. I had to remind her that it WAS the fairy's first time coming here, and since she wrote a note and stuck it IN the envelope, rather than writing her note ON the envelope, she probably didn't get the memo. I assured her that the tooth fairy never misses two days in a row.

But really? I'm just giddy that she absolutely and completely still believes ... especially after the book she read almost two years ago. Remember that nonsense?

Getting that extra dollar didn't hurt either ...

Very cute! I recently found a letter my daughter wrote to the tooth fairy about 10 years ago. Such fun memories.

I'm glad the tooth fairy found your new house. :)

Adorable.

We have a VERY forgetful tooth fairy. Luckily my daughter is pretty understanding, since she knows that our tooth fairy is still just a *student* tooth fairy in training, and as such tends to eff up a lot ;).

:-) You are too cute.

Brave too! I never write anything in my hand writing, I think my kids would spot it in a minute--all those notes in their lunches. I think a lot more kids believe in things longer than we would think. I know at 11 Jacob's still going strong on the Tooth Fairy and Santa. That's a double-edged sword though, I do worry how he'll handle it when the bubble bursts.

Awww, so adorable! Our tooth fairy also got lost once. Our daughter recently asked us if the tooth fairy was real or it was just me or her daddy leaving coins under her pillow. We told her that of course the tooth fairy is real but that she only leaves coins for the kids that believe in her. She assured us that she absolutely believes...

SO so sweet! FYI the tooth fairy has, for over a month, forgotten to visit my son for his seventh lost tooth. OOPS! Also, he always (except this last time...ooops) gets a letter with picture of the tooth fairy. He told me he knew it was me, though, just a little while ago... I wonder if he'll figure out Santa this year too?
