31

is the number of boxes of consumables that arrived today.... after only 2 months in transit. Hooray for processed American foods!! Thankfully nothing leaked, nothing broke, nothing spoiled... and the chips actually look pretty darn OK.

There's not much to say about the shipment except it took me several hours to organize the stuff and put it away as best I could in the pantry. There are a few odds and ends that I still need to do - including constructing the Ikea wine racks and stacking up the many, many bottles of wine just waiting for me to drink!

Oh I will... I surely will!

The 31 boxes ... the stuff unpacked around the dining room

Lots and lots of stuff...

Different angles of the same side of the pantry ... it was too narrow to get a full view

The other side of the pantry - view from right outside the door

I have such pantry envy!

With all the stuff you bring from here...what do you buy locally? What is safe to eat? What would you have to stay far, far away from??

Okay, I'm completely jealous of the ROOM you have. Incredible. I'm also jealous of your spacious pantry. Not so jealous of India, I must confess. ;-)

How do you get anything done with Grady? I'm afraid I would still have boxes to unpack days later. You're definitely an over-achiever.

Glad you got your yummy goodies in good shape.

Holy cow. I'm not sure which amazes me more - all that American food just ready for the grabbing, or the fact that you got it organized and put away so quickly!

I am so impressed that it all made it to you unbroken. Will you come and organize my pantry? Good job!!!!

OMG

our shipment pales in comparison ... but I think what we can find here easily is also a huge difference from north to south, so.

looks like you nailed it with your shopping prior to coming back!

I have almost the identical statement to offer as another one of your readers:

I have major pantry envy

I LOVE your pantry - I want to dive right and eat the nutella and reeses all day long. hehe. How long is that going to last? A full year?
