34ish Weeks.. and STILL Counting

So here we both are... in all our glory. I had a big scan at the perinatologists yesterday to see how the munchkin is progressing, and according to all of the measurements, it's on the above-average side. Sure I know that there's always variations in the numbers, but right now baby Perlman is measuring in the 60th percentile at around 5 lbs 12 oz.

I had an extra long scan as my amniotic fluid is elevated and we had to see if there was a concrete reason as to why. In looking at everything in high definition, they did a 4D ultrasound - my first ever! While it still looks like a wrinkled monkey to me... it was fun to get a print out and guess which girlie the baby will come out resembling. Now I just need to find their baby photos to take with us to the hospital... in about 4 more weeks. And yes, very much counting!

You do look amazing, and the baby looks so too. I can't believe the detail. I'll assume they decided everything was OK about the fluid. Four more weeks, wow! It doesn't sound that far away.

Take care.

OK... that is the most cutest prego picture of you. Love.

I am so upset that I didn't get the fancy 3D pic of my 3rd. It would have been special for her to have something unique like that. Very cool Jill.

4D is so cool!! You look awesome.

I started to respond to your last e-mail and got interrupted. I know you're shocked. :-) If I ever finish it I'll send it off to you.

Your little munchkin looks so cute in there. I'm such a visual person I need to see things to believe them. Although I know my belly was big for a reason it was so great to see what was actually going on inside. After seeing your ultrasound, I have my ideas whether you're having a he or she but will keep those thoughts to myself until you deliver. It will be fun to see if my guess is correct.

I hope the next 4 weeks cruise on by uneventfully (if that's a word).

Much love from NJ,
Sue

You look so cute and I love the 4D ultrasound. They did one when I was pregnant with the babies but it didn't work, too many babies and not enough room.

Hi there. I have to say you look so much cuter than I ever did pregnant. LOL I mean that in the most non-sexual, girlfriend buddy kind of way! And that picture of the ultrasound is freaky cool. I don't want to have another baby to get one, but it's cool! :) Happy Wednesday.
(I'm blog hopping today...commenting on a blog and then picking someone else who commented and visiting them...and then picking another commenter...etc.)

You look terrific, and awfully perky for being so very pregnant.

A 4D u/s sounds so cool, they didn't offer them when I was pg.

So is the 4D a standard with complex pregnancies?

You look fabulous!

That's so cool that you got to have a 4D ultrasound. Not much longer until you get to meet your baby!

Playdate! Playdate! We must get together soon. My Dad fell and broke his arm and leg and we've got friends arriving from Orlando for a week. They are staying at the Marriott (ironic!) so perhaps we could all go swimming? Call me and let's set something up. I cannot WAIT for school to open next week.
xxoo!

Just clicked over from Ohmommy. I'm almost 37 weeks w/ #3 - a surprise & have two little girlies at home. I'm jealous of your 3-D picture! We haven't "seen" the baby since our 20 week ultrasound. You look great too - but aren't you SO, SO ready to be done? I know I am!!!
Nice meeting you;)

Well, you look like a million bucks! The baby pic is really too cool. I wish I had known about that when I was pregnant.

I'm sure you've heard this a million times, but despite the stress and jetlag and everything else, you look radiant!

Love the 4D pic! One of my friends has suggested I have one to figure out whether I'm having a boy or a girl, but I've decided being able to tell him/her "We lived in a Third World country where the reading of ultrasounds was an inexact science" for years to come is more fun. (Well, that and I'm cheap!)
