Perlman's Lady Liberty

A patriotic AKC name for a puppy brought home a mere two weeks after 9/11.   Liberty (Libby for short) had more frequent flyer miles than many adults and traveled with us all over the United States and abroad.

Sadly, my inlaws, with whom she'd been enjoying "retirement" living the past few years, had to make the most difficult decision to put her down yesterday, as her pain was too much and her quality of life had completely diminished.  Angels that they were to take her in for a second time (after the first time they got a puppy named Gracie), they loved her as much as we did, and are obviously devastated.

RIP sweet Libby girl.  You were the most loyal companion.  Hope they have lots of PVC pipe, drywall, cable cords, oven knobs, balls, pillows and rugs with fringe for you to nibble on wherever you may be ...

Moving.  Lots and lots of moving ...

Lampshade Head.  Always getting into something in every country she's lived in ...

We love birthdays ... and parties with our doggie cousins!

 We love pillows ...
 We love Libby ...

I am so sorry for your loss. :( Losing a pet is losing a family member.
